How DFWI collects, uses and protects personal information through this website.
## Who we are
This website is operated by the Defence and Police Officers' Wives Association (DEPOWA) for the DEPOWA Families Wellness Initiative (DFWI). DEPOWA is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For any privacy question, write to info@dfwi.org.ng.
## What we collect
We collect only what each part of the website needs:
- Enquiry and partnership forms: your name, email address, and optionally a phone number and organisation, together with your message and the consent you gave.
- Security: a one-way scrambled form of your IP address, used to limit misuse of the forms. We cannot recover your address from it.
We do not ask for diagnoses, medical history, service numbers or details of personal circumstances through this website, and we ask you not to send them.
## How we use it
To reply to your enquiry or partnership interest, to keep the website secure, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
## Who can see it
Only authorised DFWI staff who need it to respond to you.
## How long we keep it
We keep what you send only as long as we need it to respond to you and to meet our legal obligations. A detailed retention schedule is being finalised and will be published here.
## Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Write to info@dfwi.org.ng and we will respond.
